What working with me actually looks like
I know when you hear ‘marketing’, you feel a bit yucky at the thought of pushy sales tactics. I know rural business and countryside customers inside out, so I get it. Countryside buyers make their purchasing decisions based on reputation, and that is the form of marketing I teach.
Robots don’t feature in my methods. I’m a little old-fashioned when it comes to my approach, and I won’t assist you in using AI to create your content. Of course, the androids have their uses, but when it comes to connecting with potential customers, there is no replacement for your own voice. People buy from people that they know, like and trust.
Boundaries and sticking to your values are so important. I'll encourage you to share parts of your story and behind-the-scenes with your audience, but only what you're comfortable with. Mentioning a hobby or two that brings you joy, for example, is a brilliant way to spark an online connection; there's nothing like a 'me too!' moment. But I will never suggest you share more than surface details of your family life, however relatable it might be.
